Job Description: As a Logistics Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our logistics department. You will work closely with carriers, shippers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth, efficient, and cost-effective transportation of goods. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong organizational skills, and the ability to foster relationships across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies that align with company goals and customer expectations.
  • Manage and optimize logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, shippers, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Lead a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of logistics operations into overall business processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics management software and tools.
